What does it mean to be a:

C.E.G. Member:

CEG members have the privilege of being a part of the Computer Enthusiast Group RSO. When you become a member you are entitled to CEG member benefits. You also become a part of "something bigger," and a community that you can relate to and have fun with.

Benefits include: Seating priorities at CEG LANs, CEG member voting privileges, an insider look into the CEG LANs, privilege of using the CEG RSO on your professional resume, and various other benefits.

E-Board Member:

Becoming a CEG E-board member takes your membership to the next level. Being an E-board Member is hard work, but the results produced are quite satisfying. E-Board members are in charge of running the RSO and the LANs. While E-Board members have the majority of the say of LANs and the RSOs, they can not win prizes at the LANs and must attend certain Ferris RSO events.

Benefits include: All of the basic membership privileges plus E-Board voting status, LAN admin power, recognition of RSO leadership, and various other benefits.

The E-Board:

President: Figure head of the RSO. The president is in charge of the E-Board, runs the meetings, organizes the RSO and LANs, and is responsible for Ferris - CEG LAN relations.

Vice President: The VP conducts all of the president's functions, when the president is unavailable. The VP is also in charge of CEG LAN - Sponsor relations.

Treasurer: The treasurer is in charge of the RSO's monetary balance and inventory (i.e. computer hardware).

Secretary: The Secretary is in charge of keeping the RSO's records and membership records.

Community Representative: The Comm. Rep. helps the VP with the LAN sponsorship relations, in addition to any community projects the RSO partakes in.

*All E-Board members admin and run the LANs, and support the president in running the RSO. E-Board members are voted into office by CEG members. Lesser positions such as LAN liaison, LAN support crew, etc. are appointed by the E-Board or volunteered for.
